Water proof, briar proof, easy to get on what more could you need

My son and i had just been out in the field and were picking the spurs off of our pants thinking there has to be a better way. Did a quick search and saw these were on sale and for the price they were worth taking a chance. So i bought the first set on a whim.... When they arrived we tried them on and decided to order a second set...(although the sale had ended and paid full price for the second set.)...
Gave them the first trial yesterday... lower 30's, the vegetation was wet , spitting rain/sleet and wind howling. We were out for about 4 hours .. stayed warm, dry and light enough that we didn't notice we were wearing them.
communication during the order process was great. notification of order, shipping and delivery were all very much appreciated.
The base fabric is as described a heavy cotton canvas type material and the front is faced with 1000 denier cordura. the cordura fabric proved to be water-repellent and the thorny brush we encountered was not an issue. the overall design & heavy duty zipper made putting these chaps on (and off) very easy. the bottom zipper when closed, fit around the Muck boots i was wearing. the snap closures that secure the chaps to the belt appear like they will hold up. if not, replacing the snap should not be a problem.
at full price the Heavy Duty Upland Chap is a good value... at sale price - Awesome value. I don't foresee a day where we will not be wearing these afield. Thanks Gamehide!!
